WELCOME TO SAN FRANCISCO!

Once again the San Francisco Area Council, members and friends are happy to extend a warm welcome to the ad annual convention of the Mattachine, Society, Inc.

The program of this year's meeting is somewhat different from past conventions. From discussions with members of the Board of Directors, it was determined that Society business this year would require less time to conduct, thereby permitting development of a program on a central theme and calling upon recognized leaders in the socio-sexual field to conduct it for us.

The result is "A Survey of the Homophilic Situation, 1956, which will oe presented in its various legal, educational, psychological, psychiatric and correctional aspects ny an imposing, froup of experts. We believe it will be informative and enjoyable. And we express our sincere thanks to the (professional people who so kindly accepted the invitation of our program chairman to appear, sharing with us iraaluqole ««viewpointd for the benefit of ourselves and the public.
